Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

Light project management – general project management using my Asana, nothing crazy 🙂 Things like my marketing, content creating (blogs, webinars) managing those types of things. Then bigger projects like my VA training fall more under the launch management which I will oversee for now. Part of this is keeping people accountable (if others are involved) including me!

Customer service & email inbox management – this really just involves responding to client/customer emails that come in through Helpscout. When I travel it would be great for you to manage my inbox as well. I do set up a vacation auto-responder but in the case, there is a really important email it’s nice to have a person to respond. I also get interview requests that come in here so deciding what ones are a fit, responding to them, and managing them on my calendar. This is a VERY small part of the job.

Research for blogs and podcasts – I am working on creating a large list of both to then pitch to for guest posts and interviews. At times I will have other types of research I need help with. I am looking for the details to be put on a spreadsheet so it’s nicely organized for future use. I use Google docs for this type of stuff.

Canva images – I use this for social media (which I have someone that handles it) but sometimes I need documents, pdf’s, guides, random images and other graphics created. I have a professional graphic designer I use when needed so you don’t need to be a professional designer but have an eye for what looks good and creating images consistent with my branding.

Editing and proofing writing/documents – I don’t like to edit my writing and often overlook things when I do, I also type fast so will often make typos although I catch a lot of them because the red squiggly lines bother me, lol. I create misc pdf’s and resources so proofing those, newsletters, that type of stuff. This would also include the blog, which also needs to be posted on my site and is a bit of a process but it’s not hard. Just several steps involved!

Infusionsoft (CRM and email management) – this would involve sending one-off emails through Infusionsoft (so blog posts or newsletter), affiliate promos, and other things like that. Dealing with any payment issues for payment plans once the VA training starts. Editing and eventually creating web forms and campaigns but that’s way off and I can train on how to do that.

Leadpages – I use Leadpages for my landing pages. If you don’t know how to use it they have a lot of training. I will usually tell you what images, copy and colors I want but need it formatted. This does integrate with Infusionsoft but I set all that up myself currently.

WordPress and blogs – I have a custom WordPress site and at times need copy edited or a photo changed. This won’t be often. I also have a membership site that might need simple edits at times. This also includes formatting and scheduling my blog posts. Basic skills are all you need for this.

Compensation:

Pay depends on experience and skill set. This is an independent contractor position so no benefits are included.

Commitment:

This will start at around 5 to 8 hours a week but could grow into more as the business grows. I am looking to develop a long-term relationship. The faster you learn, the faster you can take on more responsibilities.

How to apply:

Deadline to apply is Friday, October 20th, 2017.

Click here to fill out the online questionnaire so that I can learn a little more about you. Once I sort through the responses I will contact you if you are selected for an interview. Thank you.

*Note – my current VA has taken a full-time position and so I need to fill this role ASAP but want to find the right person.
